From February 24 to February 26, Shuhe Li represented SaluTech in the Fierce Founders Finale 2020, placing in the Top 8 of the pitch competition.

On December 9, 2019, Dr. Ren-ke Li’s paper on SaluTech’s conductive biomaterial was published in Biomaterials. (A Self-Doping Conductive Polymer Hydrogel that can Restore Electrical Impulse Propagation at Myocardial Infarct to Prevent Cardiac Arrhythmia and Preserve Ventricular Function. Biomaterials. 2019)
Additionally, on January 27, 2020, Dr. Li published another paper discussing the conductive biomaterial in the Journal of Controlled Release. (A Conductive Cell-Delivery Construct as a Bioengineered Patch that can Improve Electrical Propagation and Synchronize Cardiomyocyte Contraction for Heart Repair. Journal of Controlled Release. 2020)
In addition to several articles already published in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Theranostics and Circulation, these new publications demonstrate our progress in the development of our conductive biomaterial.
From February 5 to February 7, 2020, SaluTech will be participating in the OBIO Niagara Investment Summit, where we will present our technology and meet with prospective investors. The OBIO Niagara Investment Summit is one of Canada’s premier health science conferences, attended by the country’s leading investors and life science start-ups.

On January 27 to January 29, Shuhe Li represented SaluTech in the Fierce Founders Bootcamp, a business development program for female entrepreneurs providing up to $100K in non-dilutive grants to the top participating founders and their companies.
